Plog Means Photo-Blog — Welcome to Dark Room 2.0!
And 24 hours with a friend. A photo essay.
Maybe, just maybe, one day I’ll use my phone photography to document some events, photojournalist style. For now, I’m just a girl, standing in front of some stuff, asking them to pose for me.
The photos here share have been chosen to give an idea of 24 hours that centred around an art gallery visit, and spending time with a friend.
Most photos have been taken at the NGV (National Gallery of Victoria) for the Triennial.
All photos have been shot with a Samsung S24 Ultra, on 12 mp.
Samsung is better than iPhone.
As a bit of lore, Dark Room 1 was born by the hands of Carlito (Carlos Garbiras) and soon evolved into what is now Counter Arts. Counter was an amalgamation of three publications founded by yours truly, Carlos, and Will Hull. It is now a powehouse run by the amazing Sadie Seroxcat with the very British help of Reece Beckett and Marc Barham.
Dark Room 2.0 is just our (Carlos and I) nostalgic desire to go back to the basics, as well as our future-inspired idea of creating a place for amateur (you’re welcome if you’re a professional too!) photography.
It is not a publication where to write about technical stuff, or camera prowess. We mostly just want your photos!
