People of colour tend to be more receptive of this subliminal racist behaviours...my girlfriends tells me all the time that people look at her or say things with a certain tone that she would describe as racist...even though I might not notice most of the time, I know that it must be true. Unfortunately, I know from family and "friends" how easy it is for ang mohs (white people in singlish) to be racist... I am sorry you had to experience it mi amigo! And I pray to the universe your daughter, and my nephew (who is half pacific islander) will never experience such things!!! It is really rage evoking.

Unfortunately people are full of biases, even when they don't realise.. and, I cannot speak for all the anti-racist white people, or white people in general...but from my part, I am sorry my friend. Sorry that humans are shit at times, and whites are especially good at being this type of shit..hope you feel free o give them "a look" back!
