On another note tho. As a "mentally ill" person..whatever that means in my case.. i have to say that there are other problems but also upsides of modern society. For however long it may work I found a place of work where while they demand i do my part increasingly better, they were also open to hear my problems and try to work around them or discuss rhe need of some form of support or strategy. In the past there would have not been such thing... i would have been deemed histeric by my husband (yuck) and sectioned or whatever.

We are (not necesserely where i come from in the south of Italy yet...or my family there) a bit more understood in some parts of the world, or at least there are some forms of help we didn't have before. Me, chronically anxious and always up and down with depression, or people with even more complicated histories (e.g. schizophrenia).

Still, part of what triggers me might be a derivate of the state of the world now. But I can't know for sure I would have been better (or worst of) in the past.

Said that. I understand what type of anxiety and mental illness u are talking to, and I see your case. Lately it feels lile life is just a mess that some people navigate better than others
