Not an easy job, I give you that. Howeve,r I went through the comments and saw a lot of writers frustrated with your tweaks in earnings. Now, usually, I'd complain about the complainer, but since a lot of decisions on Medium seemed to have been deliberate to increase earnings (but of the platform), why don't we all just stop paying for memberships? Give us free reading then, and pay writers because of the engagement THEY give to YOUR platform, instead of writers having to pay membership (the 15-dollar one is ridiculous but that's another story) to increase YOUR engagement and income. Technically, writers pay themselves, if that makes sense. So...I get and appreciate the increase in spam-reduction policies, but...why punish writers in the meantime? Maybe I woke up a bit from the wrong side of the bed. But tell me: what if we all just didn't pay our membership until you fix the issues, then? I'm not trying to blame any individual in the backstage, but how can you limit the earnings of the very people paying you?
