I feel like it "may" be overthinking... but, I can see how non binary people would perceive the "whatever" a bit as mockery, or dismissive... It could be very well intentioned, but still could be interpreted a bit as "what do you mean, I am still a human!". But ye, it seems like the shop has good intentions at least
