Is there such a thing as a 28-going-to-29 years old life crisis? Whatever it is, I decided: Imma go all the things I want to do.
Sky diving? No.
Horseback riding? Interesting, but, no.
Swim with sharks? Nope.
Write a novel? I mean…we’ll see (probably not this year).
Becoming a “gamer”?
What does that even mean?
Cuz, seriously, if I am wishing to get paid to play, I don’t think I’m going to do it in a month. So, in regard the “challenge”, I got a plan:
1. Play Everyday
This is pretty straightforward, I guess. I’m going to open my pc, or turn the phone in “game mode” (practically rotate it on the side), or whatever else. And play.
Now. I do have things to get done “in the real world”, but, I’m not going to let it stop me. Let’s say, I’m going to try to game at least 1 hour a day. If then, I play ‘till 5 a.m. and don’t wake up for class, too bad.
Ok, no, let’s not do that.
2. Try Different Game Genres, or Play on Different Platforms
Yep, so the idea is: if I don’t “challenge” myself, I will end up only playing RPG’s or anything that has something to do with The Elder Scrolls. Therefore, I will try to try new genres (I heard something interesting about some “hollow” something), or if that fails…at least play different games on different consoles/platforms.
3. Not “All by Myseeeelf”
I feel like part of what attracts me about gaming, is the chance of forming a community of like-minded people (not on MobileLegendsBangBang, they hate me there because I was too bad) of every age. My cousin and my partner already tag-team (only in gaming I hope) on ESO and have fun playing together. Me being in university, I tend to have different hours. But, I’m going to try to not be alone in this. Even if other people tend to get frustrated with my lack of skills.
4. Keep Notes
Simple, I’ll try to keep notes on the “This is what happened” part of the experience.
5. Maybe, Try a Gaming Café to Actually Game
If you are confused about this subheading, I can explain. I found a place here in Melbourne where I love to hang out. The fact is, I only hang out in the arcade area and the taverna (love me some pizza and beer with dungeon & Dragons inspired décor). However, the place would primarily be an internet café. So, yea.
6. Document Everything in Another Story in around 30 Days.
Unless it all fails. But, it will never happen…because…I…am…the
