By human nature I mostly talk about neurology, and cognitive function/social psychological constructs. The complexity and context are surely to be considered in a broader view, as well as cross-cultural, political etc... Surely, we could think about progress differently, and maybe non-linearly too. Where human nature come in play is where we still wonder about the future, and try to make sense of it/predict it
